What is bespoke software?

Bespoke software is a system built for one business rather than bought off the shelf. It can be a CRM, a customer portal, a booking system or a full platform that joins them up, shaped around how your team and customers already work.

How much does bespoke software cost in the UK?

UK agencies typically quote £15,000 to £50,000 for a bespoke CRM and £30,000 to £80,000 for a customer portal. Our fixed prices are £4,995 for a Business System, £7,995 for a Business Platform and from £9,995 for a Custom Platform, agreed before we start.

Why choose bespoke software over an off-the-shelf tool?

Off-the-shelf tools make your team work around them and usually charge per user every month. Bespoke software fits your process, keeps everything in one place and belongs to you, with no per-user fees.

Can it connect to Xero or our other tools?

Usually, yes. If a tool offers an API, as Xero, Stripe and most calendar and email tools do, we can connect it. Integrations are part of our Custom Platform.

How long does it take to build?

A Business System usually takes 5 to 8 weeks and a Business Platform 8 to 10 weeks. Custom Platforms are scoped on a call and the timeline is set out in your proposal.

Is bespoke software the same as an app?

Not quite. Bespoke software runs in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone, so there is nothing to download. If you also want an app on the App Store and Google Play, see our app packages.

Do we own the software?

Yes. You own the software and its code, with a full handover.

What does it cost to run each month?

Hosting, monitoring, bug fixes and support are covered by Appro Care for software at £195 a month, so the cost stays the same as you grow.
